Bridgehaven Mental Health Services receives accreditation in multiple programs

This month Bridgehaven Mental Health Services received a 3-year accreditation from CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) in the following areas:

Community Integration: Psychosocial Rehabilitation (Adults)

Intensive Outpatient: Mental Health (Adults)

Outpatient Treatment: Mental Health (Adults)

According to CARF: “This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of practice excellence. Bridgehaven has demonstrated substantial conformance to the CARF standards and the persons served are benefitting greatly from the programming provided.

The organization provides high quality psychosocial rehabilitation, intensive outpatient and outpatient services for adults. The members describe a high level of satisfaction with staff and services and members expressed that they feel they are treated with dignity and respect and are supported and encouraged during and after their treatment.

Funding and referral sources consistently describe Bridgehaven as a very responsive, quality program as the organization promotes wellness and recovery in all of its activities. The Board of Directors is active, knowledgeable and dedicated to the mission of the organization as evidenced by a commitment to fundraising, advocacy in the community and involvement in matters impacting the outcomes of the members.”

Bridgehaven provides the highest quality community based psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery services, education, and support to those touched by mental illness. Through individual, person-centered rehabilitation planning, we assist members in setting and achieving recovery and community integration goals.

Bridgehaven programs provide individual and group therapy and skill building activities designed to improve the ability to interact and function in the community. Recovery is a process in which individuals with severe mental illness are encouraged to take control of their lives, set goals, take advantage of opportunities and return to living, learning, working and socializing activities of their choosing.
