OrthoCincy, an orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine practice with 45 clinicians across the Cincinnati metro area, has acquired Ortho Louisville. Ortho Louisville is also a provider of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine services. Additionally, Ortho Louisville offers orthopaedic urgent care services. 

This expansion follows in the same model as other provider organizations that are consolidating across increasingly larger geographic areas. Mergers of this type have been more common in the hospital sector with the merger of Advocate, Aurora and Atrium among the largest – serving across six states.
