Bill Kindred named to KHA’s board of trustees

Bill Kindred, Chief Executive Officer of T.J. Samson Community Hospital, was recently named to the Kentucky Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees.

Kindred will serve the Board of Trustees and represent the Twin Lakes District until his term expires in 2014. As a trusted member of the board, Kindred will help lead the group in representing and advocating the interests of hospitals in the state of Kentucky, as well as enhancing their ability to deliver health care to the communities they serve.

Kindred graduated from Western Kentucky University and earned a masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and serves as chair of the KHA Strategic Planning Committee; member of the KHA Certificate of Need Committee as well as the KHA Finance and Budget Committee.

The Kentucky Hospital Association, established in 1929, represents hospital and health care related organizations throughout the state of Kentucky.
