Cedar Lake promotes, hires

Michelle Kersting was promoted to Director of Finance. Michelle has 14 years of progressive experience at Cedar Lake as Assistant Director of Finance. She has an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a MBA from UofL. Michelle will be reviewing processes within the Finance Department as well as available financial reporting tools for leadership staff within Cedar Lake.

Marleen Bailie joins Cedar Lake as an Executive Assistant to Chris Stevenson. She will assist with employee and board communications, meeting preparation, scheduling and Williamsburg Office support. Marleen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Mass Communication with an emphasis on public relations from the University of Oklahoma. Most recently she served as Senior Finance Assistant/Payroll Specialist for Apple Patch for 8 years.

Cedar Lake has also hired a new Assistant Director of Finance, Marge Waugh. Marge comes to us with more than 20 years of accounting experience with Home of the Innocents. Marge’s responsibilities will be focused around the day to day running of the business office as well as financial reporting at the departmental level.
