Lourdes nurses earn navigator accreditation

Lourdes Women’s Center nurses Courtney Leneave and Amy Manley recently attained accreditation as Certified Breast Patient Navigators in Imaging & Cancer (CBPN-IC) from The National Consortium of Breast Centers. They were recognized at the 23rd Annual National Interdisciplinary Breast Center Conference in Las Vegas in March.

Lourdes Women’s Center offers nurse navigators to its patients, acting as a liaison to enhance the quality and continuity of care for breast cancer patients. The services the nurse navigators provide are free of charge and include medical, emotional,

educational, and financial support.

Leneave and Manley are the only Certified Breast Patient Navigators in Imaging & Cancer in the region.
