Lourdes is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Korte and Rex Smith to its Regional Board of Directors. The Regional Board governs Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky, Mercy Medical Associates, (Lourdes’ employed/owned physician practice), Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital in Irvine, KY and all other Catholic Health Partners health care delivery systems within the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Caroline is a branch manager at Raymond James Financial Services. She has served on the United Way of Paducah/McCracken County-Community Investment Panel, Reading Pals and is a trustee and youth leader at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Rex is President and CEO of Jim Smith Contracting Co., LLC. He is chairman of the Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors, (KAHC) and chairman

of the Greater Paducah Economic Development Council, (GPEDC). Rex also co-chaired the recent Campaign for the Lourdes Hospice Care Center.

Both Caroline and Rex will serve three year terms on the Lourdes Regional Board of Directors.
