One Southern Indiana to host annual expo

Largest business-to-business tradeshow in southern Indiana

One Southern Indiana (1si) is seeking businesses of all sizes to participate in this year’s Business Expo. The event which is considered Southern Indiana’s largest business-to-business Expo, features over 100 booths, thousands of attendees and unlimited potential for community awareness, relationship building and networking opportunities. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 at Kye’s I & II in Jeffersonville. Admission is free to business professionals who present a business card at the registration table.

In addition to exhibitor space, attendees are encouraged to check out the third annual media auction. For those businesses with non-existent or limited marketing budgets, the media auction is a great way to buy media advertising at discounted rates. Items include magazine, billboard, electronic media and newspaper advertising space, along with a variety of gift cards, business supplies and other traditional items from local area businesses. Participants can bid on items until 5 p.m. and winners will be announced at 5:30 p.m.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy food samples from local caterers, restaurants, breweries and bakeries. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network at the After Hours Networking which will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Courtyard.

A new and exciting feature added this year includes workshop sessions which will be held for the exhibitors and attendees to gain valuable information for their businesses. Everyone is encouraged to attend a powerful workshop at Noon and 2 p.m. Jeff Peden of Great Ideas, Inc., international speaker, trainer and author of Take It To The MAX (The Ultimate Strategy for Maximizing Profits and Growth)will present “Maximize Your Business Success” in which exhibitors will have the opportunity to learn four core strategies including: creating a great place to work; delivering incredible customer experience; verifying the customer’s perception and leading with above-the-line behaviors. More importantly, Peden will teach you how to gain more customers and increase revenue without spending a dime.
