Paducah Bank has committed $100,000 to the Campaign for the Lourdes Hospice Care Center. The 10,000 square-foot Center will bring inpatient hospice services into one designated location to enhance care and provide a home-like atmosphere for patients and their families.
“The people in our community are the very reason Paducah Bank has been a part of Paducah/McCracken County for 65 years. We truly believe it is our privilege to give of ourselves and our resources when the community is in need of our support. We know that this new Hospice Center will bring important help and emotional healing to those facing a terminal illness, and we are honored to be a part of making it a reality,” stated Joe Framptom, Paducah Bank CEO.
Earlier this year, Lourdes Foundation embarked on a $7 million fundraising campaign to fully fund the construction of the facility and to create an endowment fund for future patient care needs. Construction of the Center is set to begin in the spring of 2014.
