RunSwitch Public Relations hires Will Carle

Deputy Chief of Staff from KY Auditor’s office joins fastest growing public relations firm in KY

RunSwitch Public Relations, Kentucky’s fastest-growing PR and public affairs firm, has hired Will Carle, previously Deputy Chief of Staff to Kentucky State Auditor Adam Edelen. Carle joins as Vice President and will serve a wide range of public affairs clients.

“Our goal is to provide the best client service in the Commonwealth and we are always looking for top talent to provide that service,” said Steve Bryant, a founding partner of RunSwitch. “We are a bipartisan firm that provides public affairs consulting to clients in a range of industries, and adding Will gives us a new dimension of experience and insight.”

Prior to joining Auditor Edelen’s staff in January 2012, Carle was the Campaign Manager for Edelen’s successful 2011 campaign. In 2010, Carle was the Finance Director for Mayor Greg Fischer’s successful effort in Louisville. Before that, Carle served as a top aide in Governor Beshear’s office from 2008-2010, served as Finance Director for Attorney General Jack Conway’s 2007 campaign, and served as Finance Director for Lt. Governor Jerry Abramson’s successful reelection bid for Mayor in 2006. In 2004, Carle was Dan Mongiardo’s Deputy Finance Director for his U.S. Senate campaign.

“I am pleased to join a vibrant and growing firm,” said Carle. “The winning communications strategies RunSwitch provides to clients is top of the line, and I’m proud to be working with such a talented group. This firm’s integrity, creativity, and ability to deliver results is unmatched.”

Ed Glasscock, former managing partner

of Frost, Brown, Todd, said of Carle: “I’ve known Will for many years. He is intelligent and effective, and he will do an outstanding job for RunSwitch.”

Scott Jennings, a RunSwitch founding partner, said the firm is growing rapidly and that the entire staff is grateful for the trust placed in them by clients.

“Our corporate clients need solutions in public relations, public affairs, grassroots campaigns, polling, creative design, advertising, crisis communications, and digital development,” Jennings said. “We’ve found that people with broad political experience bring a unique set of skills in high demand in the private sector,” Jennings said. “Will fits that mold and we are proud to create another job in Kentucky.”

RunSwitch PR opened in July 2012, and has since exploded in growth. RunSwitch now has 12 team members working on clients across the country.

In addition to hiring Carle, RunSwitch recently brought on Carmyn Howe to serve as Manager of Social Media Services. Carmyn is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University and a native of Louisville.
