This year, for the first time, many of the celebrities attending Friday night’s gala, The Julep, will meet and mingle with cancer survivors at the Thursday celebration. Participants can enter the “Walk the Red Carpet” contest, judged by Tonya Abeln, Carrie Reichenbach and Gunnar Deatheridge. Singer Angie Johnson will perform, as will funnyman musician Charlie Lustman. It is a day for those who embody strength and hope for a future that is cancer-free.
