Redesigned site to serve as the premiere health care resource for the Louisville region

University of Louisville Physicians today announced the launch of its new, high-tech, patient-focused website, www.uoflphysicians.com. The site represents a significant asset in the branding of the new, integrated health care company, and will help solidify UofL Physicians’ commitment to the overall health and wellness of the Louisville community.

UofL Physicians partnered with Louisville based web development company, DBS Interactive, to revolutionize the company’s web presence, positioning UofL Physicians as the No. 1 health care resource in the region.

“With sophisticated search engine optimization and a modern, warm design, the site will capture top positions in web search results and draw consumers in to learn more about our extraordinary physicians and services,” said Diane Partridge, Vice President of Communications and Marketing. “We have created a site that is easy to use, is filled with valuable information and unifies all of our practices under one cohesive brand: UofL Physicians. We are thrilled to officially launch our new site.”

The user-friendly site is a one-stop shop for new and existing patients, internal and external referring physicians, as well as job seekers. In addition, it will be the foundation for several future patient initiatives, including advanced registration, medical records online and bill payment. The site features 60 practice groups and more than 500 physicians, as well as news items, videos and more. Upcoming features will include patient success stories and a blog.

UofL Physicians has also contracted with a third party to provide an extensive health library similar to WebMD. By contracting with an established health library vendor, A.D.A.M. Medical Encyclopedia, UofL Physicians now provides thousands of articles on general health topics. In addition, the library offers an animated symptom checker and valuable wellness tools.
