Buckley King expands into Kentucky with healthcare practice

The law firm of Buckley King is expanding into Louisville, Kentucky and has hired Bill Mabry to lead the initiative.  This addition expands both the Firm’s footprint as well as its offerings to clients, particularly in the area of healthcare.

Mabry, formerly a partner with Frost Brown Todd, has dedicated his career to healthcare law, representing healthcare facilities and providers across the United States and in England, including hospitals, physicians, home healthcare agencies, as well as nursing homes, provider sponsored organizations, teaching institutions, diagnostic centers and ambulatory centers. His engagements include facilities acquisitions, mergers, physician contracts, medical building leases, developing compliance plans, regulatory matters, coding, fraud and abuse, HIPAA and EMTALA.  Mabry also consults on medical staff issues, antitrust matters, adverse actions and fair hearings, and has appeared on these issues in state and federal courts. He has conducted investigations into patient care issues and False Claims Act Investigations involving the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington DC and in Kentucky.

Mabry received his JD from the University of Kentucky School of Law, his MPA from the University of Kentucky, and his BS from Morehead State University.
