Home of the Innocents Receives Reaccreditation

Home of the Innocents is pleased to announce that the agency has been reaccredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). Every four years, the Home participates in a three-day survey for reaccreditation in which financial records, governance, clinical records and all aspects of the facility are reviewed. The Home was expedited through the Pre-Commission Review Report “as a result of not receiving any out of compliance ratings in any of the fundamental practice standards.” COA described this as an amazing achievement, stating that “COA’s program of quality improvement is designed to identify providers that have met high performance standards and have made a commitment to their stakeholders to deliver the very best quality services. COA is proud to recognize Home of the Innocents as one of these outstanding providers, and we wish you the very best in your continuing work with the individuals you serve.”
