Neurosurgeon Thomas J. Gruber, M.D., has recently joined the medical staff at Western Baptist Hospital. He joins a medical staff of approximately 240 physicians, representing 40 medical specialties.
Dr. Gruber is a board-eligible neurosurgeon offering a full range of brain and spine procedures, including lumbar, thoracic and cervical fusions and laminectomy. He joins Theodore E.C. Davies, M.D.
Dr. Gruber served as neurosurgery chief resident at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Department of Neurosurgery. He holds the Doctor of Medicine degree, as well as a bachelor’s degree in international strategic studies, from the same university. He served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army and holds the rank of captain in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
