Physicians move to Baptist Eastpoint

Two physician practices have moved to Baptist Eastpoint.

Christopher V. Pitcock, MD, family and sports medicine has moved his Baptist Medical Associates practice to Baptist Eastpoint, 2400 Eastpoint Parkway, Suite 110. The office is part of the new Baptist Sports Medicine facility located on the first floor. Dr. Pitcock will see primary care and sports medicine patients on a full-time basis at the new location.

Dr. Pitcock is a 1991 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his family and community medicine residency at University of Louisville Hospital in 1994. He is board certified in family and sports medicine and was named a Louisville Magazine Top Doc in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011. He serves as team physician for the University of Louisville football and men’s basketball teams.

Patricia Figert, MD, and William Hoagland, MD, general surgery, have moved their Baptist Surgical Associates practice to Baptist Eastpoint, 2400 Eastpoint Parkway, Suite 410. They also see patients one day a week at 3900 Kresge Way, Suite 31.

Dr. Figert is a 1994 graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich. She completed a graduate course in image-guided surgery, including sentinel lymph node biopsy, ultrasound-guided biopsy and stereotactic breast biopsy, in 1998, as well as a research fellowship at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, also in 1998. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2000. She is board certified in general surgery.

Dr. Hoagland is a 1983 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis in 1984 and 1988, respectively. He is board certified in general surgery.
