Time Warner Cable Business Class (TWCBC) announced today the start of its first “Virtual Visit” Telemedicine trial with Cleveland Clinic. TWCBC’s “Virtual Visit” solution is part of the company’s Home Health Monitoring strategy that enables healthcare providers to engage and interact with patients in their homes.

TWCBC’s Home Health Monitoring solutions help deliver high-quality care that is crucial to patients and cost-effective to providers. Utilizing the company’s robust network, the services provide a scalable, secure solution to help maximize patient satisfaction. 

The “Virtual Visit” solution enables Cleveland Clinic healthcare professionals to deliver services remotely to a patient’s home, interacting through a television equipped with video conferencing technology. This allows the patient to speak and interact with the care provider using secure, encrypted, two-way video from the comfort of their home.

The service is offered as a fully contained, secure, bundled offering, which includes connectivity, installation and on-site equipment such as modems and video cameras. In addition, the solution provides technical support for patients in their homes.
